As a huge reader I’ve always wanted to try one of those really cute monthly subscription boxes. I did my research and decided to try out The Cozy Reader Club for 3 months!
The first one I got was the August box. Each box comes with a new women’s fiction hardcover book, tea/coffee or coco, a handmade item and something sweet!
This month’s box is on the pricier side compared to others, but so far I think it’s well worth it to treat yourself once a month, relax and get cozy with all this stuff! Plus, the surprise is definitely my favorite part. Christmas every month!
First off, I love how it was packaged all together: very neat and cute with tissue paper and confetti! Each box comes with a card and lists the items on the back with the prices.
The main thing in this box is of course the book! Its called “Truly, Madly,Guilty” By Liane Moriarty.
It says that its about “ Six adults, three kids and a dog on a weekend where the author shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don’t say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.”
The next drink item is Tracy Stern Tea & Co. I’m not a huge tea drinker, but I do like iced tea and can’t wait to give this a try. Plus, the tin it comes in is so cute! I’m going to have to save it and find some use for it later on. It comes with a 8-pack of tea and each one makes 2 quarts of black iced tea.
The Handmade item is a blue and purple ombre silk scarf which came from an Etsy store called Franklin Street Studio. It’s apparently hand dyed and very light weight, just for the summer.
The food item was cookies! It came with two different kinds, one was a brownie and the other maple pecan. Both packages come with two of each cookies. I like that the foods are gluten, dairy and grain free. So everyone who orders this box doesn’t have to worry about not being able to enjoy it!
So far I really think I’m going to enjoy this monthly box, for the next couple months. It helps me expand more and try brands I’ve never even heard of. Also, read a book that I might have missed out on or passed by.
